Family: Lamiaceae Some Common Names : Beebalm and Oswego Tea Some Common Uses: Bergamot has been used to treat a variety of symptoms of colds, chest and throat discomfort, mild digestive complaints, head aches, anxiety, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, deodorant, sedative, tonic and insect repellent. As an external agent, it is applied as a poultice to skin eruptions, cuts, etc and has been used to flush eyes.
