Herbaceous

Hermaphrodite      
An organism, such as an earthworm or flowering plant, having both male and female reproductive organs in a single individual.

Lanceolate
 1. shaped like the head of a lance. 
2. narrow, and tapering toward the apex or sometimes at the base, as a leaf

Palmate
 1. shaped like an open palm or like a hand with the fingers extended, as a leaf or an antler. 

Perennial
 1. lasting for an indefinitely long time; enduring: her perennial beauty. 
2. (of plants) having a life cycle lasting more than two years. 

Petiole 
Botany The stalk by which a leaf is attached to a stem. Also called leafstalk.
